Harold and Kumar Go To Whitecastle
This is a silly movie, but it's also a naughty one. It seems like the audience it's catering to are kids about 13 - 18 but it's rated R! A little strange with that logic.
Think "Dude, Where's my Car" meets "Cheech and Chong's Up in Smoke". It's closer to those than you think, the same writers of Dude, Where's my Car wrote this one, too and they even manage to say that line in this movie.
It would be just another goofy teen movie if not for the slant of casting the lead characters, Harold - John Cho (American Wedding) and Kumar - Kal Penn (Malibu's Most Wanted) and incorporating a whole script full of racial stereotypes and jokes. There are many funny lines and scenes, and the stars are endearing. We went to this just to go to something (get out of the heat) and we had fun. It is very light, naughty (don't take kids) and soooo silly. But funny.
Overall Rating - a 3 for Fun! Great popcorn at Pueblo Tinseltown!
