I'm really surprised that we liked this movie as much as we did! It was really fun - we laughed out loud. There are surprises and ridiculous stuff but it's so well paced, well written, so well acted. We really cared about the characters and it made the mess they got into seem.... sort of.... possible.
The premise is simple and a familar one - 3 buddies going on a bachelor party type trip to Vegas to celebrate the one guy's upcoming wedding. The guys are Bradley Cooper ("Nip/Tuck", "He's Just Not That Into You"); the hilarious Ed Helms ("The Office" and nearly everything else these days); and Justin Bartha ('National Treasure'). The bride's odd ball brother comes along - which puts a wildcard into things in some interesting ways - played by Zach Galifianakis ('Into The Wild' 'Reno 911').
The 4 party boys awaken the next morning with no memory, some very scary things around them, and have to find clues to piece together the events. It works very well. It's very funny - not your usual madcap couple of hours of insanity. There is a plot, there is a real story and it is alot of fun.
This is not for kids - it's Rated R for lots of reasons.
Pueblo Tinseltown was great - Eden sold us our tickets with a wave and the popcorn was excellent.
We give this a big "3".
