Dodgeball

Just like his parents, the famous team of Stiller and Meara, Ben Stiller has been faithful to try and bring his wife into his movies. He's done 4 or 5 now with Kristine Taylor, and we hope they continue that trend.

As stated in previous reviews, you either love or hate Ben Stiller. In Along Came Polly, Envy, Starsky and Hutch, he is silly and not afraid to laugh at himself. We happen to love his movies and we show up, popcorn in hand, ready to laugh. This movie is no exception and it was no disappointment!

Vince Vaughn plays lead opposite Stiller ( Old School) and his laid back, optimistic, nice guy role is perfect. He is exactly what is needed to hold the ship steady so the really flamboyant characters of Stiller, Rip Torn, and Stephen Root can shine.

Rip Torn had us laughing so hard we were nearly crying. "If you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball!" That is classic. I can see that one getting repeated.

Don't think about this movie too hard - it's just fun.

HERE'S A TIP - Stay through the credits!! After the credits totally roll there's an extra scene! :)

Pueblo Tinseltown was the theater - great popcorn but we did wait to get a line that had one freshly popping. ;)
