The Incredibles
Sarah and Robert and I went to check this out. It was - Incredible! The animation/graphics are stunning. We forgot we were even watching an animated show several times. The humor is funny, we liked the characters. Holly Hunter stars as the mom, Craig T Nelson as the dad, Samuel L. Jackson as the best friend. Holly Hunter did the absolute stand out job here - her lines and her delivery was great. We were really unhappy that Samuel L. Jackson gets so little to do. We waited the whole movie to see him and he wasn't ever really showcased.
This is great family stuff - should appeal to kids and parents equally altho the parents will appreciate the amazing quality of the film the most.
We thought it dragged a little toward the end, like if they'd cut out about 15 minutes worth it would have maintained it's nice pace better, but that's pretty minor. I didn't see it with any little kids, not sure if there would be squirming in the seats during that end part or not.
It was Incredible!
Pueblo Tinseltown was the theater - we are now so healthy and eating popcorn with no butter (grease) but still sprinkle cheese. I have water instead of soda and NO raisinettes! What is the world coming to? Melissa sold us our tickets with a big smile.
Overall Rating - a 3 for Fun!
