Saw

Robert really likes horror movies. I like more psychological thriller, less blood and guts. This one I had my doubts about, wondering if "grisly" was something I wanted to sit through. But hey, I sat through so many others, I couldn't resist. So off we went. I was ready to cover my eyes if necessary.

I didn't need to cover the eyes, I was glued to the screen the whole time - we didn't want to get up to go pee for fear we'd miss something! This movie is really bloody, it's pretty grisly, it's demented in many ways but it is fast paced, has a puzzle to sort out and we kept guessing through the whole thing. Thankfully we sit away from other people if we can. We know we will whisper "Do you think it's him??" back and forth alot.

Danny Glover (The Cookout, Royal Tennebaums) is in this, and even though he doesn't have a huge starring standout role it is one that is important and he plays it well. Cary Elwes (Elle Enchanted) plays Dr. Lawrence Gordon and I thought several times I wished it had been cast by some other actor - I don't much care for him and I thought his acting was questionable, even in this.

This is not a kid movie, however Sarah and her friend, Jackie, snuck into it one night when Spongebob Squarepants was too full. Can you imagine a more opposite movie to go see?? Jackie screamed and jumped through it, Sarah like it alot. Our 21 year old son, Adam, also went to see this one. He's a horror movie lover like his dad and he loved this one.

Pueblo Tinseltown - great popcorn and staff (Thanks Melissa) and this family gave it a 3! As fun as a horror movie can be! :)
