I dragged earthdad to this - he insisted he didn't want to see a cartoon and I thought it seemed to be more. I think George Clooney being the star voice is what made him give it a try. We were both pleasantly surprised!
This is a fun movie, an original and unusual movie, and a slow paced, neat to watch movie. It has great animation, dialogue, big stars (George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Jason Scwartzman, Bill Murray) and was just overall a pleasure to sit through.
Go when you're in a fun mood but quieter mood. If you are looking for a Big Holiday Shoot Em Up action flick or something on a large, loud scale you won't like this. Oh there are explosions.... :) and action, and close calls. But it has its own pacing and it a very good story.
We actually gave this a '4'! Super Manager Shane was there to greet us and serve up fresh, hot popcorn at Pueblo Tinseltown. A really fun midweek movie getaway.
